Lucca October 2015

 

Even we stayed in Montecarlo this time too and had a short 5 day week business and pleasure took us to Lucca last week. Both meeting with the architect and our “Comersialista” (tax help) was needed.

 

So have early morning and midday meeting with them it was nice to have some short walks at the wall around Lucca as well lunches to some of our friends.

Two of the restaurants we normally would visit are Paris Boheme and Gli Orti via Elise.

 

 

 

 

 

Luise and David at Paris Boheme always decorate in a complete different way than any other restaurant in Lucca. Most of their food is also inspired by other relations than to the Tuscan kitchen. It is always fun to visit and sit down at Piazza Cittadelle and watch people and be treated by Luise.

 

At Gli Orti we by coincident met my longtime friend Paolo when we had lunch. He joined us when we had a great pizza. Gli Orti has also started a delivery service for their pizza, put it on the back and drive the scooter.

 

 

Wednesday we hit the market that are this day in Lucca, no purchase this time, but interesting to see what we can find when needed and know where to get it.

 



October is the month for autumn vacation for Norwegians, and we did find some on one of the pit stops at Piazza Michele.
